It starts with an email, text, or a phone call

We will set up a no-obligation discovery consultation where we can get to know each other. We will go over what you are looking for in a ceremony and also what you do not want. You may secure your date with a deposit and signed contract. Many dates are very popular and may get booked up.

After our conversation and your completion of a set of interview questions, I will begin crafting your ceremony outline. You will have the opportunity to review and edit your ceremony to ensure it feels perfect. (For end-of-life services, often there is less time available for this review process due to time constraints)

I would be honoured if you choose me to lead your ceremony.

For a wedding I will:

  • Lead your rehearsal if you wish to have one, ensuring you feel comfortably prepared.
  • Create cue sheets for other vendors to be aware of special moments and photographs.
  • Ensure that any special ceremony/ritual components are in place prior to the wedding commencing
  • Professionally officiate your ceremony
  • Ensure that your marriage is registered with Vital Statistics
  • Gift you a keepsake copy of your special ceremony which many couples like to revisit on each anniversary.

Overall, I will spend 10-20 hours which, as well as the creative writing, includes meeting with you, reviewing your personal stories and responses as well as researching any extra readings, rituals, or cultural traditions you wish to include.

Depending on the stage of life that you are celebrating, the time commitment will vary and I would be more than happy to work with you to create a meaningful ceremony to honour your loved one, celebrate the addition of a new family member, or any other occasion that you are commemorating.
